Community Engagement

In February and March 2016 the CBE invited employees, parents, students and members of the public to provide their perspectives on budget priorities for the 2016-17 school year and beyond.

Engagement opportunities included five sessions across the city for parents and citizens, one staff session, a live Twitter chat and comment submission via our online budget feedback form.
These sessions were attended by CFO Brad Grundy along with other superintendents and directors. Approximately 80 parents and 40 employees gave their input at the various sessions. Over 100 comments were received from the online budget feedback form.
The results of the engagement and all feedback received can be seen in our 2016-17 Budget Engagement Report
We would now like to receive your feedback on future budget years. The budget feedback form is always available and all comments are read by the finance team.
