CALGARY — Media are invited to attend Sir John Franklin School when teacher and Calgary’s Strongest Man competitor, James Loach, will attempt to pull a yellow school bus filled with students and food donations collected for the Calgary Food Bank.

Students and staff at the school have been participating in the annual Mayor’s Food Drive. On the last day of class before the winter break, the class that has collected the most food bank donations will be pulled in a bus while the rest of the school cheers on their teacher.

Following the event, the bus will deliver the food donations to the Food Bank.
