We provide families in Calgary with choices to meet the unique learning needs of each student. Along with our excellent regular program offered at our community schools, we also offer alternative programs and other options.

Also of interest is the Alternative Programs Handbook from Alberta Education.
For the 2019-20 school year Alternative Program registration begins January 2019. Please take your completed registration package to your designated school after you have attended the parent information session. Please refer to the school’s website for parent information session details. Packages must be submitted by noon of the Tuesday before Teachers' Convention, to be considered for lottery draws at schools that are full (at capacity).
For families that are new to the CBE and not Canadian citizens, please note you must first attend the Kingsland Reception Centre for an initial assessment prior to registering for an Alternative Program.
