Knowledge & Employability
Knowledge & Employability (K&E) courses:
- Provide students with opportunities to experience success and become prepared for employment, further studies, active citizenship and lifelong learning
- Assist students in making connections between school and work by applying disciplinary literacy to develop employability skills
- Are available to students in Grades 8 through 12 who meet specific criteria
- Are intended to maximize opportunities for student success and to ensure high school completion
School learning teams, parents and students are involved in enrolment discussions to ensure course philosophy and outcomes match student learning needs and goals.
