Invitation to participate in the 2014 Making Healthy Choices Mini Expo

The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) and the Calgary Catholic School District (CCSD) are hosting a joint mini expo for our schools, parent groups, charter schools and other school jurisdictions in the vicinity of Calgary.

This invitation is extended to those individuals who organize meals/snacks for students and school fundraisers. Food retailers and fundraising vendors will showcase their menu items and/or fundraising items that meet healthier student friendly choices as outlined in the Alberta Nutrition Guidelines for Children and Youth and CBE Administrative Regulation 3047 - Nutrition.

Please extend this invitation to your school council, administrative assistants, breakfast/lunch program supervisors, school club organizers or anyone else in your school who is interested in attending. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get information.
